Job Description :
Primary Skill:
- Oracle Database Administration
Must-have skills:
- Oracle Database Performance Tuning – 5 years
- Oracle Database Management – 10 years
- SQL – 10 years
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
Nice-to-have skills:
- Knowledge of Oracle internals
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as shell scripting, Perl, python
- Working with the client Conversion team, diagnose issues with Oracle SQL routines and Oracle database configurations to increase performance of data conversion SQL, PL/SQL routines.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills
- 10+ years of database architecture & administration or 10+ years of database design & development
- Strong hands-on experience as an Oracle Performance Tuning Expert
- Deep SQL skills
- Deep knowledge of Oracle performance tools, like AWR, ASH, Execution Plans, SQL Monitor, advisors
- Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture.
- Good knowledge of scripting languages such as shell script, perl, python
Preferred Skills:
- Oracle DBA OCM/OCP Certification
- Cloud (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)
