Job Description

Looking for call center or online health insurance platform exp

Note : I will consider only  CT, MA, NH, RI, VT, ME

Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services Department, in partnership with Vendors will be implementing a Health Insurance Marketplace solution that also includes a Consumer assistance service call center.
In order for the State to reach its goal of implementing the SBM, the Department is contracting the following services:
1. Project 1 – Marketplace Technology Platform: A hosted integrated online health insurance exchange technology platform.
2. Project 2 – Consumer Assistance Center: An associated Consumer assistance center to support the Department’s anticipated operation of the SBM.
While these projects will be contracted separately, the Department expects the Vendors of Project 1 and Project 2 to coordinate and collaborate with each other and the Department to ensure the success of the SBM.
To ensure success, this Senior Project Manager role will partner closely with the Vendors of Project 1 and Project 2, the State of Maine Project Team, and Client resources to ensure success for the complete solution. To achieve success, there are four major areas of the Senior Project Manager’s responsibilities will be:
1. Team Collaboration
a. Coordinate and facilitate the defining of program and technology requirements and design planning between Vendors and the Department
b. Working with assigned Sponsor and core team to ensure project resource plan is clear, complete, and achievable; communication plan is complete and accepted; schedule is clear and reasonable
2. Project Management
a. Core project monitoring and controlling tools are in place: scope management, detailed schedule, communication plan, risk management plan
b. Perform Department resource planning based on scope; work within a matrix management environment
c. High level of rigor to clear potential impacts to project milestones
d. Ensure project’s progress, status, and challenges are communicated to a broad audience in concise manner, on a recurring basis
e. Resource planning through identification of State of Maine business and technology team resources required and the responsibilities of each resource to the project goals
3. Leadership
a. Lead the project team (external and internal) through fact-based processes to support good decision-making
b. Courage to challenge issues and roadblocks; confidence to challenge assumptions
c. Commitment to ensuring core team and sponsorship know where the project is going and why
d. Drive resolution efforts to remove barriers
4. Technical acumen
a. Possess experience needed to participate/contribute in technical discussions
