Skill sets

Primary Skills:

Experience working on VMware environment.
Monitor performance of application and suggest bottleneck of coding efficiency. performance monitoring tools – AppDynamics/Grafana
Experience working on design and build ELK (Elastic search,Logstash,Kibana)architecture to monitor real time logs.
Experience in handling production support incidents and connect between Developer/Operations team to perform deep dive analysis work on RCA/implement code fix.
Monitoring Servers, Databases, JVM Tiers & Nodes and Business Transaction performance alerts
Good hands-on experience in DB (My SQL, Oracle..).

Secondary Skills:

Experience working on Java environment microservice based architecture.
understanding of Kubernetes, Dockers and containers.
Knowledge on Messaging Queue ( Rabbit MQ,Kafka..)

Roles and Responsibilities Ready to take responsibility for all the dimensions of application reliability – including availability, performance, efficiency, latency, change handling, monitoring, emergency response, and scope/capacity planning.
Handle production Incidents and drive Development/Operation teams.
Empowered to fix application issues in production and make sure minor errors are not creating major issues.
Passion to Investigate issue and find out the root cause. Work on software/tool recommendation and collaborate across team within the organization.
proactively diagnose the problem using holistic knowledge-set – and then get busy with coding a permanent fix, rewriting a process or working with third parties to ensure that lessons are learnt and the problem never recurs again.
Create report on systemic issues and prepare report for executive leadership consumption/review.
