The Core duties associated with the role are as follows:

  • Participation in Infrastructure Design, Architectural Design, Provisioning Release Design.
  • Participation in discussions of new installations, upgrades, patches and the documentation of procedures as needed.
  • Performance of complex network integration tasks and interoperability assessments for interconnected servers or components of clusters for communication, as needed. 
  • Respond to operational issues while managing internal and external clients. 
  • Deploying the Applications in Clustered Environments.
  • Build and Deploy the Applications in Lower Environments.
  • Troubleshooting the issues which we are getting in the production.
  • Performing WebLogic Server hanging and Crash issues.
  • Performing various types of Incidents raised by other IT Support Teams
  • Integrating HTTP Apache Http plug-in with WebLogic Servers.
  • Handling Performance tuning of the Application servers.
  • Monitoring the WebLogic Server and Deployed applications.
  • URL redirections, SSL Certificates installation in Apache server.
  • Attending pre and post review meetings for Deployment plans.
  • Quickly respond to Alerts and Command center calls.
  • Handle work and Change Requests and Incidents.
  • Review and Maintain logs of production failures and resolutions.
  • Inspect, review and comment on any documentation produced in relation to software releases.
  • Reviewing and understanding Implementation Plans before sign-off and be able to execute them on the implementation date.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

This individual will be working closely with the DHCF and its’ partner agencies to ensure the agencies’ priorities are met.

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience


Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle SOA functionality.

Knowledge of SOA design principles.

Experience in Information Technology focusing on cross-platform infrastructure technologies, services and product implementations.

Required 7 Years

Experience with design, configuration, operation, repair, and tuning of technology systems.

Required 4 Years

Experience with Oracle WebLogic 11g/12c, in a Linux environment, with a large installation of multiple clustered servers.

Required 5 Years

Demonstrated expertise with trouble shooting J2EE applications on Unix/Windows systems.

Experience with SOA, WebLogic, Enterprise Manager.
