Substitutions: Accredited college training may substitute for the required work experience, except for the supervisory experience, with a maximum substitution of four (4) years. (Fifteen (15) semester hours in Information Technology or a related area is required.)   1. PROJECT/SYSTEM OVERVIEW

Provide staff augmentation support to serve as IT service management consultant for organization change work at DAS/BEST, as it seeks to optimize its service delivery model and capability.  Support to senior leaders in executing this change requires a knowledgeable resource.

 

 

  1. SCOPE OF WORK

High-level description of the need. 

A staff augmentation IT service management resource is required to support change work.  The individual will participate in development of the service delivery process development around service requests, incident management, project intake, and IT system change management.

  1. SPECIFIC DELIVERABLES TO BE PROVIDED

Minimally, the following should be included:

  1. Deliverables and Services to be provided by each Consultant – Be specific and concrete.
    1. Provide the following services as directed:
      1. Create or update ITIL-based policies, procedures and guidelines related to IT service delivery.
      2. Conduct workshops with IT professionals and agency IT managers related to process development.
      3. Create transitional processes for current-state to future-state based on organizational changes that may occur during the project.
  2.  
      1. Develop workplans, roadmap documents, and written reports as directed.
  3. Department’s requirements for status reporting.
    1. The resource will work directly senior leaders in DAS/BEST who will manage execution of work and take oral reports/status meetings.  If circumstances dictate, written reports may be required.
  4. Documentation required from the Contractor (e.g. reports, manuals, analysis, or other documentation as required by the Department).
    1. This is a staff augmentation engagement.  Work products will likely include policies, procedures, guidelines, status reports, and meeting agendas.
  5. Applicable technical standards required by the Department, along with Department policies and procedures.

    1. The initial period of work is anticipated to be from April 2020 through December 2020
  7. Evaluation, testing and acceptance requirements.

  11. REQUIRED CONSULTANT SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  12. List of required skills and experience – Be specific and concrete.
  13.             The desired consultant should have:
